I’m Martyn Hill, a recruitment professional with more than 13 years dedicated to the Australian mining industry. My career has been built on a simple principle: people deserve clarity, confidence, and genuine support when navigating their next career step.

Across agency, internal, and high-volume mining environments, I’ve helped thousands of job seekers and employers make better decisions by demystifying the hiring process and focusing on what truly drives outcomes — capability, character and readiness for the realities of site-based work.

My work spans frontline blue-collar operations through to complex technical and leadership hiring. I’ve sourced talent for some of the biggest mining operations in Australia, partnered directly with hiring managers across multiple commodities, and built a reputation for accuracy, transparency and practical advice that gets results.

Along the way, I’ve been recognised by the industry through awards including the RCSA Recruitment Professional of the Year, multiple national and state Sourcr Awards, and finalist listings across the SEEK SARA and TIARA Recruitment Awards ANZ. These acknowledgements reflect not just strong individual performance, but a career invested in raising standards and improving the experience for job seekers and employers alike.

Giving back is a core part of what I do. As a long-serving RCSA Council Member, mentor with the RCSA Pearl Program, and volunteer with Project Placed, I work with emerging recruiters and job seekers to strengthen capability and improve access to meaningful employment. From resume support and job-readiness coaching to professional guidance for those starting out, I believe the industry performs at its best when we lift others with us.
